I noticed that the salt brine has been sprayed on the 407 alreadyMine is still on the road till mid month or till the temporary FJ cruiser is made ready to drive for myself.I have a 2011 F150 Platinum with the 6.2 coming as a proper winter beater but I do not think that will be here till sometime in December.I did put the snows on my wifes 335is on Sunday though.

Agreed. I wasn't having much difficulty with my summers in these low temps. The only reason I changed early was bc I'm paranoid of getting caught in a flash snowstorm! hahaha.... and i was also due for my mid-year oil change... i'm getting the sense though that many people are switching over this week and next..!

I have always waited until the end of November. I just swap them myself so if there is an issue with weather I will swap them early.
I think I will put the all seasons on the X5 this week and put the snows on it in December. |

So far the drive has been pretty good, but I know the summers will slide like hockey pucks with the first dusting of snow, so I am getting a bit nervous. Would like to hold off until mid November if I can.

Ya ditto I'm keeping on my summers on as long as possible before putting on the stocker wheelies wrapped with snow rubber. The HRE's just look too damn good!

No we don't - we pay extra tax to ensure that doesn't happen - however you will see some snow on the ground since no one in the GTA knows how to brush the snow off their cars. So when the tourists venture into Oakville they always leave a little something behind....

Putting the M3 away in a week or two. Just picked up a set Michelin X-ice for my E350 4MATIC. Bring on the snow.

I'll refrain from telling you what the temperature is here in AZ today
Sorry for jumping on what appeared to be a predominantly Canadian thread, hope you don't mind. Graeme |

Why all the talk of winter? There is still one more track day this Sunday before it is time to even think about snow tires and putting the M3 into hibernation!..
See you Sunday.

although no M3, my winters are going on this week... even with only 255whp, i feel a big difference with the all-seasons when the temp is around 0 C in the morning... luckily it's 14 C above this afternoon but it wont last...

Looking at the long range it looks like the M will still be on the road for another couple of weeks including our last track day on Sunday
