2013 BMW M3 Umnitza Orion V4 LED Angel Eye Ring Upgrade
Especial thanks to lightwerkz!
Wonderful job, excellent customer service rp... Als 2013 BMW M3 Umnitza Orion V4 LED Angel Eye Ring Upgrade Posted on October 29, 2013 by admin Al dropped off his 2013 BMW M3 for a quick make over on the headlights. He had the LUX LED angel eye upgrade, but was unsatisfied with the uniformity and the brightness of the product. We removed the original angel eyes and replaced with the Umnitza Orion V4 full LED angel eye rings. With standard DIY jobs, the angel eye wiring will be shown feeding out of the top of the ring. Some experts even go as far as painting the top bar to help blend within the blacked out headlights. We modify the angel eye ring to appear more like a stock ring, without a cross bar which retains somewhat of an aftermarket appearance. No silicone or epoxy is used on the face of the rings to prevent any rings loosening up or glue from discoloring. The final installation of the Umnitza LED angel eye ring leaves no cross bar or wiring that is shown, giving the ultimate OEM fit. The stock sealant was removed and fully replaced with the OEM Koito butyl rubber sealant was has the best bonding strength to prevent condensation from building up within the lights. The housing and turn signal reflector was painted Jet Black to provide more contrast within the headlights. The cornering lens was also tinted as requested. Please let us know if you have any questions! I'm very satisfied with the work again amazing job lightwerkz!!! http://www.lightwerkz.net/photo/blog/ |

Do the Orion rings actually sit over the factory halo rings? I thought they get removed from pics that were posted previously, but now that I look closer it seems they may have just been painted black (at least for the inner halos)?

Looking great
I would love to go with this mod from any of the reputable vendors that do the conversion - only thing is, I can never afford to go without front bumper/headlights during the conversion as the BMW is my DD Any that you find FS on the forum want you to trade your stock lights ahead of time - which again, is too much downtime for me...

is it me or the new inner rings (V4) smaller in size then OEM?
I notice some are smaller and some are the same size as oem on other cars the other weekend at a local meet.

Very nice! Let me know if your headlights allow any water in.. My headlights from 180 seem to be allowing in a lot of water when washing the car...

That's not good! Don't wash your car till you fix the leak. Last thing you wanna do is fry your ballast or adaptive module.

Wondering about the size of the inner rings well. Can't say I like the look of the smaller rings stacked on top of the larger OEM rings.
