Has anyone considered just using the glossifier on its own on a set of wheels to make them super-easy to keep clean? Sounds like a hose-spray or power-wash takes care of it. as opposed to the weekly scrubbing that we're used to?

I haven't used the glossifier by itself on the car but I did use it on the bottom of a metal tub that had rusted and was leaving rust marks on the ground out in my backyard. Well a few coats of clear and no more rust spots haha.

Anyway, I don't see why it wouldn't work as you have indicated.

Can you use this on the exhaust tips? Or do they get too hot?

+1 here.

Also anyone actually use the glossifier and do black wheels? Would be curious to see how they look.

I just did my winter wheels (tirerack special) & very happy with the results, we'll see how they'll hold up, only had one issue when mounting my wheels my lug peeled the plastic from that area I touched it up and all is good now

here is a quick pic from my instagram @apxlvr ...the top pic on left are my RAC summer rims & the Plasti Dipped are Sport Edition

My wife wanted to reduce the bling on her shoes so I said, lets Plastidip them. I masked and sprayed and she's happy!
