At this time, I am *not* planning on putting springs or sleeve overs or coil overs on the car... I am hoping that I can live with it not lowered, and get by with just widening the stance a bit... I was surprised how inset the ZCP wheels look once mounted... the reasons having somewhat to do with the TUV standards and snow chain requirements?

From reading the thread, I am looking at 15mm in the front, and either 10mm or 12mm in the rear (keeping in mind I have 285 tires, *but*, the car is not lowered either.

Thanks!
The are numerous variables that can can affect the final outcome.

- Do people ride in the back?
- Road conditions such as steep driveways, speed bumps,
- Driving habits aggressive or daily driver?
- Do you carry gear in the trunk?

These are variables that can affect ride height, which ultimately will affect spacer sizing. In your case best thing to do is to measure. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showpos...67&postcount=2

Virtually never people in the back, gradual incline driveway and nice ramped curbs, daily driver, moderate weight camera gear in the trunk on rare occasions...

I did the measuring thing for about a half hour, with straight edges, squares, millimeter rulers, and a full tank of gas, 180 lb. person in the driver's seat, etc. It is kinda voodoo magic though, because you don't really know what part of the tire is gonna hit where if the suspension moves (on an arc? etc.)
That's why I was hoping that somebody here has already experimented with a spacer set up that works with the ZCP wheels on a non ZCP car and 255/35, 285/30 tires...

Anyways, I got measurements from the worst case spot on the tire, the rim protection bead to which the straight edge was touching, but it seems unlikely that bead area would never normally compress all the way up to the fender lip? I measured about 12mm in front and about 7mm in the rear. If I could un-naturally compress the suspension and see the geometry at work it would make things much easier (obviously), but I am fairly certain I am not going to have any problems on the stock springs with a 12mm spacer in the front and 10mm in the rear. PM me please.

That's an E93 not an E92...and since nobody from EAS wanted to take the time to PM as requested (twice in this thread), I have decided to go with another offering. Sorry fellas.

Specifications are no different from E92 to E93.

This is a technical thread, but any sales-related questions can be directed towards any of our sales team via PM, email or by phone.

Any chances of other sizes being made like 7mm or 13mm?

Not that I'm aware of. 12mm is already available, I doubt 13mm will be hitting the market anytime soon.

I personally recommend these spacers over most of the others that are available. They have always been great when installed correctly.

Anthony,

I received my EAS 12mm and 15mm spacers a few days ago.

I changed out my winter tires and installed my summers with 12 spacers at the rear and 15 at the front.

The stance improvement is excellent. The handling with the M button MDM setting is very good.

Glad to hear you're liking them! They really do make a big difference.

Thank you
I would recommend going with a 12/10 set-up due to your wider tires, however I would also strongly recommend that you measure it yourself to make sure. If you're on the OEM M3 non-ZCP springs then you should be OK.

I'm picking up some ZCP 359m rims, what would be the best spacer setup without any rubbing? I'm lowered on Kw Sleeve

On OEM ZCP wheels with the Michelin tires, the common set up is 15mm front and 12mm rear. You do also have to take into consideration your alignment specifications (more spacing needed if cambered in, for example) and if you have a different tire.

Im currently running Michelin Supersport 245/35/19 fronts and 265/35/19 rears, planning on getting 255/35/19 and 275/35/19 on my next set of tires. with the new setup i can still run 15MM front and 12mm rear without any rubbing?

Upsizing the tires might cause the wheels to rub with the same spacer size, especially if you are lowered more than 1" from OEM height.

I'm on KW SLEEVES and have about 2 full turns to the lowest on the setup, what would you recommend other then 15/12mm setup.

thanks

There are a lot of variables such as your actual ride height, alignment, and tire shoulder (rounded or squared), but a 12mm/10mm should theoretically work. Of course, best way to know is to get the new tires that you want mounted on, and then measure the clearance:
