LOL Warranty equals car life? No warranty for an M3 is financial suicide? Geez its an M3 not a Enzo...Dont buy anycar if you dont have any money to fix it.

+1...it's nice that the warranty lasts almost until the car payments run out (assuming a 4 or 5 year loan) that way no monthly payments after that, add out of pocket service calls, you're practically driving for free.

Planning six years myself if the car remains in good shape. Maybe longer.

Exactly, once the car is paid off more money every month to pay for repairs if needed. As long as nothing major goes wrong will come out ahead. Heh, in the end yes its a bit of a gamble but so is life. Plan in advance... Cut the umbilical cord and go out and play.

never touched anything, nothing ever broke, nothing replaced
the car was sold with 60k miles on it
as for the m3
I'm sure it's pretty much the same story
some dude had 80k miles on a supercharged e46 m3
another dude on autotrader had a 01' m3 for sale with 400k miles
