Hey everyone ,as it happens to most of us all cause of this forum i feel like i wanna mod my baby ...at first i didnt wanna do it at all and keep it original but since i have been hanging around the candy shop i feel like i want some candy lol (: ///

i know this is not the section of mods (i can delete or move it if needed , since i m kind of new i need some help on everything sorry about that ) but i kind of made a list of what i want & i would love to hear everybodys opinion and experiences about the things that i want to add on my baby ...

First of all i m planing to change
-my rims with the same 359 black original competetion edition wheels (which i got priced 3200$ minus %10 discount +200$ labor by the bmw dealer in my area)
-ind frozen black painted reflectors (75$ +50$ paint job)
-fr0zen black painted OEM compeition splitters (715$ + 50$ paint job)
-i wanted to full akrapovic evolution exhaust system with matt black tips (6k) but i dont want anything cause me to lose the warranty on the car ( i know you gotta pay to play but i dont want to risk it that much at the begining otherwise i would start my list with 650hp ess sc ,i want it so bad but dont wanna lose my warranty yet ... )so i definitely need some advise on that like if i have to just get the slips or is there anyway not to risk the warranty by getting the full system ?
-Vorsteiner Rear Diffuser Type II (850$ + 80$ frozen black paint job)
-Vorsteiner Single-sided Carbon Fiber Bootlid (1895$ +450$ frozen black paint job) even i love the way it looks ,it sounds little too much for begining of moding so i feel like i might skip that since it feels pretty expensive
-Macht Schnell E9X M3 Stage 2 Intake Charge Kit (499$)
-Macht Schnell Performance Underdrive Pulleys (395$)
-angel lights ( didnt decide which one yet )
- & to complete the akrapovic exhaust system add the ess tunning which is around 1000$ ( this thread here "
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=656660 " impressed me a lot and made me wanna get it so bad ...

-& ofcourse i want the newest and fastest supercharger which would be on the market when the time comes but unfortunately not yet ( ex : ess 650sc kit )

as i said before i dont wanna lose the warranty cause of anything but so far i want all those things and planing to get everyting which would not effect the warranty througt you guys opinions and reccomendations !!!

So thank you all very much ,any information which is a little a lot doesnt really matter very much appreciated !!!

Oben

you forgot one of the importantest parts: drop! all the mods doesnt looks good on a car with standard high. go with springs, coils or sleeves.

i know but since it s really hard to keep this paint maintainted ,i dont wanna take the chance of scraping anything ,yet (: even though all the cars that i had was lowered so far ...

ps: ( i think it is (-10 mm) lowered already from the factory even i know that it is not enough lol but still planing to keep it like that for a while ...

Put springs in. Take it slow and on angle over parking lot aprons and you won't scrape. Mine is on Eibach and haven't scraped. I have splitters on too so I wouldn't worry much about hitting.

What part of VA you live? I love that color. I concure that dropping this puppy should be your first mod. Never seen anyone around here put the front license plate in the window. That thing would be flying all over the car the way I drive lol

I would just powder coat your current rims to match the GTS rims.. Save a few 1000. I know the GTS rims are a tad bit lighter but for the money, just doesnt seem worth it IMO.

Also, I think you definitely need to look into some OSS/LS3 LED angel eyes. A car that looks that special needs eyes that are special.

Oh. One more thing... You need the OEM deck spoiler!

First let me start by telling you that I LOVE your car!!!

If you don't mind I'll give you my opinion on what you want to do and you can do whatever you whant with it!

-First, the OEM black ZCPs, good choice except that you can get them new for around 2200$ at a couple of places, I bought mine from Turnermotorsport.com!

-painted reflectors, another good idea, IND sell them for 60$ I think already painted, that's where I bought mine

-OEM splitters, the way to go IMO but not painted unless you mold it to the bumper! I also bought mine from IND for cheaper then 715$

as for the rest, I suggest you to put OEM Performance spoiler instead of Vorsteiner, I always prefer OEM parts specially on a clean car like yours but that's just my opinion!

Also If you don't know about it, BMW Performance makes a flat bottom steering wheel in alcantara, it's not that expensive and it really gives something special to your interior, I have it and it's one of my favorite mod! You'll always want to have both hands on the steering wheel if you buy that!

edit: oh and I forgot the most important, get Eibach springs, the drop is subtle but still noticable but most importantly the ride quality is as good as stock but a bit more tight in cornering, let's just say perfect IMO!!

here's what the steering wheel look like installed: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...light=steering

and here's what I think you should do with your car, minus the stickers!

Nice car! Look into Xpel Stealth PPF, it matches the frozen finish pretty well. Matte clear coat on the CF parts would look good IMO.
