All you need depending on your age of course

If you're desperate or really hardcore, there are the testosterone supplements and other things of course.
I think you're older than me! lol I've just abused the hell outta my body, between bad technique in the gym, and bad ideas outta the gym.

lol, probably!

Being in the military we stretch and exercise so much that most people, unless you're overweight or older, our bodies can deal with the physical strains of exercise and other things.

But yeah, I hear you. Everyones different. I'm sure one of these days I'll need to go to SAM'S club and buy a years supply of joint supplements

I only use creatine to recover faster. I'm not about to take it 3 times a day, no need to.

I think I am paying now for some of the road marches and ftx's that I did when I was younger. Anyhow, I started with glucosamine and chondroitin several months back. I am not convinced with its efficacy.

Me too man. My left knee and ankles throb sometimes depending on the weather. Supposedly glucosamine is effective with recovery. Kinda why I use Cell tech instead of normal powdered creatine. Not sure if I've every heard of chondroitin.

my flexibility is something that I've always worked at, and been pretty good with. The 685lb parallel squats and 1300lb leg presses were the really bad ideas I had in the gym. Jumping off cliffs on my skis / boards (w/o a chute ) and swimming 10,000+ yds / day for years, various knee injuries in football....all took a real toll on my knees and shoulders. And then there are the things that I can't mention...

Works well to support the same goals of glucosimine.

I guess but then again, you get people with BEACH MUSCLES. It's the types that have muscle just to look good but if you told them to deadlift 250lbs they couldn't do that. I'm more about function that looks. Squats and deadlifts are two of the best exercises you can perform as they use your core muscles to get the job done. The other day I maxed out on my bench at 225 with one full rep. Mind you, I'm 155lbs and been in the gym for only 7 months. I'm not trying to make myself look good here but I'm rather trying to argue a point that deadlifts and squats help your strength overall. Did you know that when you squat you use about 80% of your entire body's muscles?

But as you said, things work differently for different people. I'm not saying that what you are doing is wrong.

Yeah, you are/were too hardcore for me man. lol I would never want to ever think about doing that much weight. I've always thought that the back and legs are the most fragile parts of the body. I'm tired of seeing people limp around because of this and that. Its the reason I'll only skydive every once in a while and never go Airborne.

You sound like you're held together with tape

I think it's called CORE strength.....

Good article about it...

What Ms. Sahrmann is getting at here is when you have the right amount of abdominal or core strength, not only do you stabilize the spine optimally, but you can carry this optimal relationship over to movement (squatting, deadlifting, lunging, etc.).

Never liked those products. Too much sugar/insulin spike and water retention. Also pretty expensive.

There are better choices out there, if you ask me.

Well EAS and Muscletech are the leading brands. It works for me, plus there's always a sale either here or on the internet. Not hard to find. Maybe just expensive where you are.

don't one or both have creatine? You need the insulin spike for your body to take up the creatine. Damn good stuff, creatine, but it bloats, cramps, and the sugar needed to make your body take it up provides too many extra calories. I drank sooo much water and G'rade to prevent the cramping, which did the trick. It's great stuff when you're trying to add muscle with the attitude of "damn the torpedos, full speed ahead!"
