I don't believe for a second that Vettel had a legitimate gearbox issue. Post race, Horner said that they tried and tried but they just couldn't get him (Vettel) to slow down.

Sorry Webber fans, but that was a team gift. Great track, but not that entertaining of a race for me.

And throughout the whole season, double bad luck for Vettel two races in a row???
I don't believe that...but the telemetry did show he short shift during the race.
I'd guess just keeping pace and the gap between Webber and Button/Alonso behind...

lol yea, that was def a gift from redbull to webber, I recall at one point the radio message to SV was to slow down and short shift, then a lap or two later, he sets fastest lap.... right

Regardless of the legitimacy of Webber's win, its still great to see him take it. Hopefully next season he proves to be more competitive and give Seb more of a challenge.

Just watched the race. A few exciting overtaking moves masked an otherwise drab and boring race - very unusual for Interlagos, one must say. Oh well, it was fun watching and commenting on the races with you guys. Enjoy the off-season (wish NBA was here to make the time pass faster!), and here's to a more tightly-contested championship in 2012. I'd love to see a proper 3-way like 2012, and perhaps even have Mercedes join the fray.

Hopefully next year we can see the top 5 guys battle it out till the end, similar to 2010 season.

NBA starts on Christmas so hopefully the off season goes by quickly
