Only the A5/S5/RS5 is slightly better looking any where near the M3's price range imho.

That said, I don't think the E90 is a looker tbh.

My only complaint is the front of the clk63 amg black looks really dated.

The new c63 amg coupe black series is going to be my new favourite car.

A lot of this boils down to personal taste.

But, in my view there is nothing nicer out there than the E9X M3 that can deliver the whole package (high performance, space for four and their luggage, everyday drivability, reasonable insurance rates, sub $100K, strong image, relatively low operating costs even after the warranty period has ended, and a gazillion ways to personalize). That's why I own one.

1) Jaguar XKR (Drove one a week ago and I could be happy just staring at it)

2) Lotus Exige S ( This may not be to everyone's taste but I really like the lines and cuves)

I really can't think of many more, which is a testament to the M3's looks.
