How long for a buy back?

For those of you that have done a buy back with BMW, how long did it take from the time you turned your car in to the time you got your check? I am trying to time out the turn in of my 335i with the delivery of my M3 that I have on order.

A couple months? My buy back has already been approved. Im talking about how long from returning your car to getting your check?

Anywhere from a week to a month, and then maybe a little longer for the money afterwards.

oh about a month to return the car after being approved for me, but i went through a lawyer. If it is through bmw then it shouldnt be any longer.

I just got word from BMW that I can drive my 335i until my new M gets here and then just turn it in when I pick up my new car. At that time, they will cut me a check that I can take straight to the bank to cash and bring back to the dealer for my deposit. Cool!

I am the process of a buy back on my 535i. I have an approved settlement and am told that the return of the vehicle will be scheduled within the next two weeks. The settlement check is going to be cut when i return the vehicle.

Same exact thing for me too.. BMW usually has the check pre maid and when you surrender the vehicle they cut you a check right on the spot..

When I surrendered my 335i, I waited 3 days before I got the check.

Got the check 2 days after I gave up my 135...was sent overnight.

Returned my car on the 13th and still have not received a check...... Who is responsible for cutting it? Does anybody know what bank brand these checks come from? Good news is that I called BMWFS and asked them about my check. They said they dont know anything about my buy back check but they are sending me a 650 deposit refund check that I forgot about.

30- 50 days depending on your lawyer..
