Left Brake Light malfunction cost?

Hi, I have a left brake light malfunction on my 08 e92 m3.

About to drop it off at BMW.

Whats the estimate cost on this?

Do the 08's have the replaceable bulbs? My wife has 2010 X5 and I just had the get a bulb to clear the malfunction.

Cost should be zero. There's a TSB on that issue, and fix consists on changing the whole bulb carrier. But you can easily fix it by lifting the contact points with a jeweler screwdriver or angled pic, and also making the sleeve a bit tighter for better contact. I'd do that, rather than bothering with a dealer, but it's your call. Either way it'll be fixed. Good luck.
