Unhappy 11 M3 2nd RPM about 2K-2.5K feels a little bit shake

Just got this M3 4 month ago, recently I found that the car shakes(feels like I push the gas 4 or 5 times really quick in a very short time) in 2nd around 2K-2.5K RPM, and it is just the 2nd, not in any other gear, does anyone have a same situation?

Also I can hear a strange noise from the back side when I drive the car at about 5MPH, it is sounds like knocking a coke can, I really dont know what is going on here, and unfortunately there is no BMW dealership in my city, so I think I can get some info here.

Sorry for my language I am not a native English speaker

Thanks

What you're describing about the shake is surging. Either get off the gas and go back at it, or just gun through it. The pedal is really sensitive sometimes so when you first gas it, your foot starts to oscillate a bit and that's what you're describing.

well I didnt get off the gas, no matter what I try to do, when the car make a full stop, and I hold my foot on the accelerator to moving, then the gear changes to 2nd it is always there.

Mine does a similar thing but in third and around 2.8k rpm. It only does in third and no other gear, and not always. I would describe it more like bogging down.... when applying full throttle at about 2k rpm in 3rd gear, goes nicely up about 2.8k rpm when it feels like it's losing power for a second or so.

the coke can sound is probably a rock stuck in the heat shield for the brakes

I'm assuming you have a DCT. Mine does that too in second gear. It's done it since the day I got it. I just figure it's part of the car bogging down a little when it shifts that early. A little annoying at worst, but if you give it a little more gas off the line then it will shift later and you won't get that jerky motion in second anymore.

First thank you to reply this, yes I have a DCT, and I dont drive to fast in local, (I dont have to much point left since I got this beast) the car changes gear to 2nd at about 2K RPM in 1st, then RPM downs to about 1K, then it happens all the time.
Well I tried your way today it was gone, hope BMW update the DCT software to change this situation.
