Anyone know the spec's for the stock brake fluid?

Like the dry and wet boiling points?
Just wondering how it stands up against the other fluids out there. Thanks.

DOT 4. That's it.

Assume it meets the minimum spec for DOT 4, and read up on that. It might be better than that, but there's no guarantee.

BMW OE brake fluid is manufactured by ATE (Teves).

Here are the specs:

Rating: DOT 4

Boiling Points: (Dry) 446°F / (Wet) 311°F

+100 BMW uses the same fluid in all there cars total crap. Our cars use the same brake fluid as a 1 series 4 banger diesel! They can at least use better fluid for the M cars!!!!!

Go for Castrol SRF, and SS brake lines, easy mod, cheap one too

You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
