Carbon Fiber M3 GTS front lip - Interested?
anyone here interested in the M3 GTS front lip?
i'm currently negotiate with a vendor to make the GTS lip for our M3; but we have to get at least 5 people in order for them to starts the project. They will be able to make the lip 99% identical as the OEM GTS. Anyone? |

I'd be interested as well....if it's the price of what a lip should be. Like $350 haha. I don't know why BMW lips are so expensive. All my previous cars have lips that are below $500. A lip is a lip, whether it's on a Honda, BMW, or Ferrari.

I have past all yours questions to the developer; they said they can make both CF and PU lip. But the Polyurethane will cost more because they have to invest $$$ into the new PU mold.
I got this quote from them. Carbon Fiber: M.S.R.P. $1100, Groupbuy Price for the first 10 people = $799 Polyurethane: M.S.R.P $1300, Groupbuy Price for the first 10 people = $1100 Lead time. 7-9 weeks. If there is a lot interested then they will sign up and become support vendor here. Lets hear what do you have to say? Last edited by kWonM3; 11-30-2010 at 11:12 AM.. |

Back on point, the group buy pricing on the CF front lip seems quite reasonable when compared to other lips on this forum, so now it's just a question of quality and fitment. What would be the non-GB regular price on the front lip? I ask because I almost never jump in on new product GB's-I like to see what I'm getting myself into via pics on maybe 5-6 different people's cars before committing usually. |

Fitment can be garantee; since they are going to make the prototype and mold on the actual M3 bumper. Fitment can be fixed and adjusts during the developing stages. Non-Groupbuy will pay for the full price. Last edited by kWonM3; 11-30-2010 at 11:15 AM.. |
