I usually see about 5 or 6 but definitely the minority compared to the vette's.

I think there just needs to be some organization like with the S2000s.

Sorry, I had a busy weekend with my family. I'll send Eric at H2R an email within the next few days. However, I have been getting a lot of feed back on various BMW forums and I've got a BMW shop that might be interested in taking part in the event.

I am down if it's a track that's within reasonable distance from Houston.

BTW I am planning to attend one of Texas World Speedway's HPDE last weekend of September or first week of Oct. Let me know if anyone of you plan to go.

It wouldn't be any farther than TWS.

If the H2R thing is on 26/27 Sep, I might be able to make it.

^I'm looking to attend the Petit Le Mans that weekend, so that might not work. The next weekend is Austin City Limits, so then again a no go. Here's what I'll do, I will get a list of possible weekends and post them and we can vote on them in a poll or something--JC

I guess that's a good thing about TX, there's always something going on.

What dates are we looking at John? Let's get this poll started. I forgot to get you Derrick's and KC's emails. I will try and remember to look for those before I leave town tonight. See you in Santa Fe for some Turbo action!

Bad news guys, talked to Eric at H2R today and we won't be able to set this meet/track day up on a Saturday until next year. Seriously, they're booked solid until 2010. Good for H2R, bad for us. It is possible to do a Friday, but I'm sure that will have a seriously negative affect on attendance.

Let me know what you guys think, but in the mean time I'm going to try an explore options at some other tracks.--JC

We can do something in January, its going to be cold, well central TX cold. But at least no problem of over heating.

^ Cool with me, I'm down. Can you find out which week in January is available so we can reserve a spot now?

Yeah, I vote we reserve a spot in January now.Our N/A M3's will be running fast then, and engine and brake temps won't be as bad. Also, that'll give us plenty of time to build interest. In the meantime, I wonder if there are any other groups we can tag onto?

JC,

I remembered seeing your post on bfc. If a weekend is not avail., how about Fri? Weekend is usually reserved for members so it's hard to get in.

BTW..anyone here with a e90 series M3/4 I can look at? Been thinking about getting one for a daily driver...

TIA

^Good to see you here, I need to update the threads on other forums

Friday's are available, I'm just worried that it could have an adverse effect on attendance.

I'm surprised the S2k club is able to rent the track out. Is there a minimum number of drivers required to rent the track out? I like running on the weekdays since it's not so crowded. Have you try posting on the track section of bfc and roadfly...there are quite a few track junkies on those forums.

^Just on the Southwest section as I was new to that forum, I'll give it a shot though.
