Thanks guys - I've done a few additional things with the car over the summer so I'll try to post an update soon.

You've got the cleanest race car I've ever seen...inside, outside, and underneath. I definitely cannot say the same for my E46.

Just wanted to add my praise. This is an awesome build, and even more impressive that you've done so much of it on your own.

Looks like a 6-figure project but worth it in the end. Incredible build and thanks for documenting for us to see.

How loud is that bw race exhaust? Would it be impossible to street drive? Right now I have euro header and eisenmann sport and its semi loud already. Got a trailer so less street but maybe a little.

I wouldn't personally use the race exhaust with the straight pipe on a street driven vehicle, but that isn't to say that you'll immediately get a noise violation or anything. I'm definitely not the loudest car at the track, by a long shot, but not many of the cars louder than mine (including mine) show up under their own power.

I have the BW exhaust with the resonator. I drive to and from the track. There's a nasty drone at about 2800 rpm. It's bearable at 3100 rpm. Ear plugs are required.
