Would it make sense to check the value on a site that specializes in that, such as kbb.com?

Cheers

According to KBB, you're looking at somewhere in the mid-$40K range depending on the dealer

private sale can probably get a high 40k range.

I would agree private sale should bring upper 40's. SoCal BMW dealers would be listing your car low to mid 50's.

Mid to high 40's seem about right. Remember that KBB will give you a reference, but depending on where you live, it can vary a little bit (supply and demand). For example, in the Seattle area, the prices are generally a little higher, due to the little supply.

If you love your car then it's probably worth around $80K, otherwise mid 40's sounds reasonable

I paid $46.9k for dealer in Feb for my 09 in 6MT / MR, otherwise similar spec as yours.

Assuming $4k of profit I would say maybe $43k trade?

No bro, but you'll get an actual answer specific to your car details and zip code by going to a site like kbb, vs. general input here. And you're welcome.
