Lap time coilovers vs stock...how much time do C/O save?

Trying to get an idea of how much lap time coilovers save. Say you have a stock car on decent tires(rs3/nt01 etc) and the same car and tires with a good set of coilovers (KWv3/jrz rs1 etc).

Maybe on a 2 minute course? Say like buttonwillow or even big willow as these are the tracks I run the most.

I think a well setup suspension will be the most significant mod in terms of improving the potential of the car besides maybe tires. There are so many variables.

Notice I said well setup. I've seen an E92 M3 on motons struggle to break 2:00 at Texas World Speedway. I've taken my s/c'd 330 on STREET tires and k-mart coilovers compared to the motons on the same course and direction...did a 1:57:32.

Will I say that my 330 is superior? No...but the driver and the SETUP was!

These threads may help. A properly spec'd, installed and set up coil over should give you 2-3 seconds on a 2-min track. But it can vary due to many factors.

Thanks. Never heard of the kw competition series. I don't have an M anymore but knew I'd get some good feedback in this section. KW only make the V3 for my car, so it's that Jrz Rs1 or AST
