Dirty Subie

Did a RallyX yesterday in my beater Subaru... just thought I'd share a couple pics. Needless to say, it was quite muddy.

Exactly... I did spend hours cleaning the mud from undercarriage, brakes, etc, but it was well worth it.

help a brother out!

So I submitted a pic of my mudded out Subie to the Dirty Impreza of the Month contest. If anyone is bored and wants to help me out, feel free to vote for me (or not). Everyone seems to know each other on this forum, so I think my chances are pretty slim... though I do think I have a pretty strong entry. FYI - I'm also rdub315 over on that forum.

Right on! I actually feel bad for clean Subarus, they aren't having fun! Thinking about getting a late 90s to 2000 2.5RS for a beater. They are reasonably cheap! And I won't feel bad parking it outside

I looked for an RS, but couldn't find one local that wasn't beat to hell so I ended up with the OBS. I can't tell you how much fun that RallyX was. Also likely going to hit up the ice racing scene this winter, which looks like a hell of a time as well. Might as well take advantage of the fun these things offer!

OBS has good ground clearance though, and tons of space. Should have no problems in the snow/ice. If I can find a virgin 2.5RS I may be joining you lol. Too many of them have STi motors and are $10k. I wouldn't mind, but Cali doesn't like engine swaps
