Bummer it's not leaving for a week. Is this definitely the next west coast ship?

I'm getting anxious. My car completed production on Sept 28. It's been waiting to get on a boat for almost 3 weeks. If it's not on the next on the next boat (Porgy?) heads are going roll...

Have any other west coast bound cars gotten on a boat recently?

I hope I'm on the Porgy...my car has been at the dock since the 15th...talked to an actual person that said my car is on a vessel, just not sure which one..it's either this or the vessel that left monday (Essen-NYK). Or I'll be on the vessel leaving the 27th (Don Juan-WW) or 25th (Tokyo-NYK)

No, unless the 800 number of out of date. Porgy left on Friday or Saturday I think.

Mine is still saying "your vehicle is in transit" Still unclear on what that means.

on the BMW website, my car says in "awaiting transport." I think it just hasn't updated yet. I did ED, and accroding to Harms, my car is on the Porgy.

How do you check with the shipping company? I have my VIN and production number.

800# just updated my status to "in transit" seeing as how we all know the automated system is a few days behind, I'm hoping that I am indeed on this vessel (I was at port since the 15th).

My car finished production nearly a month ago and has supposedly been at the port sine the first week of October. The 800 number has said "in transit" for a couple weeks. I have no idea what's up, this is incredibly frustrating.

have you spoken to your CA? He would have the most up to date info, as many threads state..

My CA is out of the office until wednesday, so I will confirm tracking info with him then.....where exactly are you located/your m3 being shipped to? Shipping to the east coast take 3-4 weeks and to the west coast 4-6 weeks....

West coast (SF). I knew it would take longer than an east coast delivery but waiting a month just to get on a ship seems like a long time...

My CA hasn't been very responsive, last I talked to him was about 10 days ago. He's supposed to be at work today so maybe he'll call me back.

Cheesy9, I totally understand you. My AW M3 vert finished production on 9/30 and it's status has not been changed for the last 3 weeks. I am also in the Bay area and I ordered through BMW MV. The waiting and tracking is killing me....

Wow, I finally got this reply from my dealership:

Quote:
Your new vehicle is on the "TOLEDO" vessel scheduled to dock on 11/3/2010. 7 to 10 days is usually what it takes to make it to us once it has docked.
If that's correct that's awesome, I should have my car in 2-3 weeks, but I'll believe it when I see it. Fingers crossed.

So it seems even if the website/800 number tracking are stuck on "in transit"/"waiting for transport" there is hope. Kind of ridiculous though.
