C63 AMG - Autoweek Review
"We won’t see the C63 on these shores until next spring, and prices haven’t been set. We can’t emphasize enough just how much more invigorating AMG’s latest performance hero is to drive. It operates on a much higher level than its predecessor, in terms of performance and overall dynamic prowess. With the M3 waiting in the wings, the scene is now set for a battle royal."

I think it looks far better than any M3 sedan I've seen, and perhaps better than the e92 M3.

Well I dunno if it looks better than the E90 or E92 sedan, but in my opinion, it looks stunning !

Not a bad car. It's not as sport oriented as the M3. Just the fact that it only comes with a boring automatic is enough for me not to go that route. And, I am quite confident that the price will be much, much higher than the M with a much worse residual. As a daily driver, sports sedan meant to be a cruise missile, it's a great choice, imo.

i think its gonna get good reviews as expectations were low so when it was driven it was punching as they say above its weight so it was surprisingly good for the test driver, but looking at the setup of chasis and suspension they seem to be following M ingredients but with more fat in the engine department!, its slightly more expensive i saw in a uk mag article its going to be around £55K base price, but it seems like audi and MB getting there act together, its going to be very very competative

The new front looks pretty menacing as much as its new engine. This car is going to be a success with the old MB fans and some new ones.

Agree--too bad they can't get off the auto tranny kick and offer a DCT. It will definitely be more expensive than the M3, judgining by other AMG prices.

Yea seriously, MB def. has the resources to develop a great MT or even a DCT type tranny, yet they just recycle their automatics. The only mt i remember was for the c230 kompressor...why cant they make those for AMGs? I guess as with all MB its the ease/comfort of the ride that comes first.

I think it looks pretty damn hot
The M3 is becomming a bit more smooth, stylish. This and the RS4 have the "chunky", steriod beefy look I liked in the E46 M3. M3 = more sport, track duty, engaged spirited driving C63 = if I have to drive around clients + kids, lots of highway driving, nice M5 alternative Both serve their purpose, both fantastic choices. What a great time to be an enthusiast, eh?

As much as I'm very much against automatic transmissions (see my signature), I feel I'd be remiss if I bought an E90 M3 without at least looking at the C63 first. Even though it's heavier than the M3 and has the automatic, everything I've been reading is generally positive and I really think MB might actually have something here. If it comes out at $63K (as stated in the article) and the automatic is as responsive as some have said, it might be a contender...

I like the way it looks.....
The front end is pretty sweet. And a 6.2 V8 that will spin the tires in the 1st three gears isn't bad either... ! |
