what car insurance do you have?
Hi everyone- I was just wondering if anyone could suggest car insurance companies and what kind #'s most ppl are paying out there? I recently got a 2013 coupe. I realize it will be a lot as I have no history in the united states. I'm 31 years old, and a physician.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! thx |

There are just way, way too many variables when it comes to insurance rates! I have USAA, which only insures military members and families, and I pay $680 each six months. But I live in Oklahoma which has high losses due to weather and many people with little or no insurance. You would really need to shop around because every situation is different.

I have State Farm Insurance, and I pay $1100/year for a 2013 M3 Coupe.
I have full coverage... with a $500 deducible on collision/comprehension. There are many factors that go into insurance cost. I meet the following criteria to have such a low premium. 1) With State Farm for 15 years, with NO claims. 2) No tickets in 7 years. 3) Age 4) No Lien on vehicle 5) Multi-Line Discount (Home Owners) I also have accident forgiveness, in which, if I get into a accident, and I am at fault, my premiums won't increase.. but, it is a one time shot. Hope this helps. DominionXX Last edited by DominionXX; 10-11-2012 at 09:56 PM.. |

You guys have some crazy rates. State Farm, less than $700/year, can't remember exact figure. Pretty worthless though because so many factors it's difficult to compare.

Umm... you think $1100 is "such a low premium"?? Time for you to start shopping around some more. That's relatively steep for your conditions if you're carrying normal liability coverage.
