E92 M3 vs RC F (Discussion)

Well the new RC F is out and there have been several reviews on youtube putting the new M4 vs RC F (

). After looking up laptimes the E92 M3 did 1:27.67 at Streets of Willow as opposed to 1:24.05 for the RC F (http://fastestlaps.com/tracks/willow...of_willow.html). 3 seconds is a lot especially since the RC F weighs close to 4000 lbs, but Randy Probst wasn't the driver of the M3 so maybe he could've shaved a couple 1/10s of the time.

Going forward with the E92 M3 and RC F debate, I look further into the lexus. The RC F has almost no back seat legroom. I remember one reviewer said "there should be a warning sign that says for amputees or contortionist only" lol. (

) So what your getting is really a 2 seater that weighs 4000 lbs. If you want some of the carbon fiber goodies, its gonna cost you 10K+ for the spoiler, roof, ect. IMO the only thing I can see the RC F being better than the M3 is ride quality comfort and possibly exhaust note (stock). Modded exhaust is a different story . Looks are subjective but I think some angles the RC F looks really good, and other angles the car looks a little overdone. Anyway I was just trying to get a little discussion going on about these two cars and looking to hear what people have to say. I'm not trying to bash the Lexus, I just think they could've done a better job.

They blew it big time with the RC-F. The performance is not what it needs to be, its to heavy, it looks terrible and once the new, faster, more powerful Merc amg 63 comes out, the m4 and Merc will be a much better buy than this car. I actually think the IS350 looks more sporty than this car, I really don't know what they were thinking....

when i head a V8 was coming, i had high hopes.

the car looks like shit and doesn't perform where it should be. I dont understand how a car like this can go into production.
