Im going to try and be a good forum member and talk you out of wanting this car.
1. It wont even compare in performance, obviously you track your car so that matters to you.
2. Aftermarket on Audis of new age blows compared to BMW'S.
3. Ive seen some on the road and they never catch my eye
4. get out there and test drive a shitload of cars and then actually compare it to your current car.
5. what about another 335i, hopefully this time with no issues
6. If your conscientious about prices , well audi's are always expensive on leases, and financing.
7. I can tell you like Euro cars which isn't a bad thing at all, but possibly look at some Japanese , bang for your buck type cars so that may help in current economy

Too nice to pass up. It's a real eye catcher compared to a 335i (not really special in the looks department imo) Just buy it already! 2.0T can be chipped, so no problem. Grip for days in the Quattro as well. Power wise, a downgrade. Interior is great though. Audizine is boring though, so avoid it if you end up buying one.

I am thinking of doing another 2 year stint on a used B5 platform Audi S4. I have had three before...know all about them...can get one for probably $10-12K and mod it with wheels/tires/suspension/chip for about $5K...some of the parts would be used. And then, I wouldnt have any car payment for awhile..

Genesis Coupe? No friggin way.

This would be a little easier if you had a 328 :P

Awesome car, but no chance in hell you get that much power out of just a chip. Try more like 200-210 AWHP. There are several BT kits for the B7 though...

with supporting mods, it'll be 230whp.

And s4, that's not what i meant. By all means, get the A4, i'm just saying the two are not comparable power wise.

looks good. The sterring is AWFULL it is so light I can not believe it. I dont really like how it drives and I used to sell Audis and do like them. I was very disappointed when I drove it. It is also wayyyyyyyyyyyy to soft.

It's alright. I actually think the previous style A4 looks more interesting. (B7? I don't know the Audi lingo...) Like the one in your sig.

I agree, either go with a S5 or if you are still sticking to the 4, put in a bit more cash and just get the RS4. I'm certain that you will enjoy those 2 that I've listed far more than the A4. I don't know your current financial situation but if you got the extra cash to throw around, rethink your options

Then there is no point talking about the power you are losing. Get the A4 and save your money AND don't go to Track days (Save even more!)

Maybe go for a 2.0t gti or a3 instead? Have fun and save some $$. A one year or 2 year old GTI can be had for around 16k.
