Sounds awesome. Be very interested to hear how it sounds with resonated test pipes. Same tone but slightly less volume would be perfect.

Sounds great. I am running a custom Castro Motorsports catback but this might be a good option and cheaper rather than picking up the Macht Schnell X-Pipe. Thanks for the video!

Agreed! I'll be picking them up to swap sometime next month, and will post another video. Maybe I'll get some dB readings also.

This may be the best exhaust setup I've heard yet.

I had test pipes with stock rear until about four months ago when I added the Corsa rear, and there weren't any videos of the test pipe and Corsa combo, unfortunately. Thanks for letting me know how my exhaust sounds to the outside world! Very nice!

I've also paired it with a dual resonated ESS xpipe after watching the reviews by KitW a while back. The sound was clean and amazing up to about 4-5k rpm. IMO it became too muted on the top end when I wanted more scream.

Fast forward to a couple days ago, I put in the BW race xpipe to get rid of the resonators of the ESS pipe. Otherwise, the design is very similar.

This really opened up the sound across the full rev range, admittedly the extra resonators of the ESS pipe make the bottom end a much cleaner note.

Personally, I prefer the raspy bark and scream of the top end better with the BW race pipe.

Hope this helps to give another perspective.

Your setup sounds great nontheless and the effort you put into capturing different driving conditions is appreciated!
Would love to see video of the Corsa with BW race x-pipe!! Hook it up!

Most definitely! I never take video of stuff so don't have a set-up to do it with but I will get something together as soon as I can come across a low-cost/good quality set-up, not promising a quick turnaround unfortunately.

Definitely in for more vids! The Corsa option seems more and more like a better choice to go with every day. Just not a fan of the tips and how low it hangs. Curious to see what it sounds like with some sort of X pipe.

With some serious finagling you can get the exhaust pretty tucked up.

Agreed. I didn't think it hung very low prior to the new tip install.

How does the Meisterschaft GT sound along with a pair of resonated test pipes? Would it be close to how the Corsa would be right now?

I haven't heard the GT with just test pipes. Only with Stock X and the Challenge X Pipe. I think it's a little bit deeper than the Corsa and with some more drone.

I have always loved the sound of this setup! Thanks for the vids, spectacular sounding M3. If I didn't have the ATAK already, the Corsa and the resonated TP's is the way I would go too. I likely will eventually, I think the ATAK with TP would be way too loud.
