Anyone heading to runway in FL panhandle?

Is anyone from this forum heading to the runway event in the FL panhandle that was on here? Would be cool to have group of BMW's there.

IMO, Too short of a run to make the long drive from Miami. The topgunrun and mile marler 1 events at the Dade/Collier Airstrip have me spoiled since they did 1 mile and 1.5 mile runs. Things are postponed untill the county decides whether or not to let further events happen.

True, but they are allowing heads up racing which interests me more than simply racing against myself. Who knows when those Miami events will get approved again.

My car will be in shop with a unexpected laundry list of things wrong. One big one is a battery draining issue.

Looks like event has been postponed....saw on Bimmerfest. Here's the message.

Event has been postponed!! We will be doing some restructuring to make this event even better than it was originally!! A new date will be released within 2 weeks!!
