Can any of you guys post pic of your V1 in relation to where it is in your car? I'm think of getting one but totally clueless as to the install and where to place it, etc.

A huge number of people I know that have detectors swear by these.. I don't drive to warrant the use of one, but I would purchase one, no doubt, if I needed a detector

V1 mounting
This was in my E46, but I will do the same if I get around to hardwiring my '08. I prefer the visor to the windshield, as it is less visible from the outside. The concealed display in the cluster is a little tougher to pull off in the E92! I mounted the remote volume control on the valance to the left and below the steering wheel.
