Materials in the turbos in the 335

Anyone know what materials the turbos inside the N54 engine are composed of? I am curious....

Ha, this is nothing, you should check out VWVortex.com. I hate most of the people on that forum. Some of them are pretty annoying. Well...from my experiences anyway. I do apologize for posting something stupid though, this is a good question. However, I highly doubt most of the people on this forum would actually know the answer. Not saying people are dumb on here, just saying that it's a rather odd technical question. Since they are Mitsubishi turbos, maybe the OP or someone can research it under that and get some answers on Google?

It will be from the Inconel family of stainless steels.

Prob: High Nickel Steel on the Tubine, and Aluminum alloy on the impeller. I seriously doubt they went with Inconel turbines and Titanium impellers as it is just an OEM turbo.

You do know Inconel falls into the catagory of high nickel steel and the costs are about the same for this type of raw material.
