Agreed. Your 255/35 & 275/35 idea should work fine.

Decided to go with Tirerack... will hold off on car delivery until tires arrive.

Going to have some fun with this one in the summer; Likely going the Evolve route, or maybe G-Power. (Want to do something different than the popular ESS supercharger.). I love the Evolve E-tronic exhaust too.

I will be very upset to see the N54 335i go .. become quite attached to it, especially since nobody expected it to be as fast as it was

You gonna love your M3 way more. I had the same feeling when I was upgrading from my 330 to the M3. As soon as I got my M3, I totally forgot about my 330 lol

You cannot go wrong with the G-Power Kit. Just got mine installed last year and loving it.

If you want more details shoot me a PM.

I sure hope so Initial impressions on the test drive were great (other than lack of torque - my N54 had 450 to the wheels before I ripped the mods off!).

I'm going DCT too, which is a big change for me -- manual for most of the last 18 years!

Looks great! I'm hoping to add a kit & exhaust in the spring/summer, depending on if I can afford to pay myself a bonus .. haha.

Did you pick up one of those 2012 AW M3's they had on a serious discount? Please PM me the final price you got from them and who you used. I want to trade my 2011 in cos of super high mileage.

And here she is:

Did all the paperwork today, gave back my 335i. Won't take the M3 until my winters arrive.

They gave me a 528 xdrive loaner in the mean time ... armchair on wheels, but painfully slow and boat-like

Looking forward to joining some cruises again this year, 2012 was too crazy for me find time.

It will be interesting to see the Evolve SC kit and performance, there are lots of ESS kits in calgary to compare to.

G-Power I would pass on unless something has changed... less power and more money...

get perpared for M-tax on all aftermarket sheit

Any manual M3 except mine in Calgary? If any of you guys have 6MT, I highly recommend getting M5 shift knob. I just installed it on my car and it looks great and shifting is way better than before.

My local contacts are out of tires this size, so I thought I'd throw it out here if anybody has any ideas in Calgary before I order some from 1010 or Tirerack..

Size is 245/35R19 & 265/35R19. Will also take 255/35R19 & 275/35R19. New or used.

Cheers.. !

Understood! I have to let my wife and bank balance get over my latest purchase before I start any major modding

Yeah I saw those. I ordered some new ones from Tire Rack (via ZR Auto) .. my cost new was only a little more; and no risk of tires not holding air etc.

Hey guys, I hope my fellow Calgarians are doing well!

I have a set of 220M 19" rims that are sitting back at home in Calgary. If anyone would like to make an offer on the rims I would be more than happy to sell them to you.

The rims are running a little low on tread so there is approximately 5000km of driving left on them. And one of the rims has 10" long curb rash that my mom did

I drove them for about 18,000kms

Thanks guys

Yeah man, just actually drove my car last night and this mod is a MUST to have!

I got it for $124 + $14 Shipping + $24 Duty / custom fee

I always buy my OEM parts from www.thebmwpartstore.com

They have great pricing, match price with anyone as well.

Very nice.

I didn't like BMW shifters before but I recently test drove an F30 M-Sport with the short shifter and I liked it!

I'm sure it's not the same thing as the F10 M5 shifter but it looked and felt similar to the M5 one (video:
).

Maybe part of a new family of improved short ///M and M-Sport shifters.

Thanks Julie,

I definitely like this gear knob more too, I feel it has to do with it being way shorter than the M3 stock one, it is also heavier. I had no problem with the stock one , but the M5 shifter is just way better for changing gears. Also the top part lights up too

Was the installation hard? It looks like it came that way on your car. Good job.
