For those who are following or care about the CQuartz sealant, I have a quick update. It rained (well, poured really) today and I drove to and from work and also to a meeting at lunch. I got home tonight and the car was absolutely CLEAN!! I had heard that CQuartz allowed you to "rinse" away a lot of dirt but this is insane. It was like dirt would not stick to the car. If it seems like I'm surprised and excited about this, it's because I am... the car was truly CLEAN after driving it 3 times in rain.

For me, this "self cleaning" aspect was worth the effort of application alone... especially for a black car!

I was going to head up to T.O. to help you out but just found out I am out of vacation time

I hear Jamie (BMRLVR) is quite the detailer and is coming east this summer... you should see if you can get him to stop on his way here

I would get Jamie to do it, but I dont think he is going to be out this way this year. Sometimes the job gets in the way
