Need tent suggestion

I'm going camping next weekend and need to pick up a new tent. I'm not really an avid camper but I want this tent to be somewhat high quality and something that'll last me a while.

I was thinking of a REI 2 person dome or a Eureka Apex2xt or Spitfire 2 person. I was hoping to spend around $100 give or take. I mostly want the spitfire cause it looks cool and is bigger. The spitfire2 is a little more expensive but the only one I've listed that will fit my queen air mattress. If I pick a smaller tent, I'll have to buy another air mattress or go without. I don't really like to sleep on the ground. Any suggestions for brands, etc? This is primarily for myself only.

Your price point limits you. I used to use Eureka when I was a kid and never really had too many problems with them. Breathability wasn't always the best, but I would think they've improved things since then.

REI branded gear are some decent and good products. I haven't used any of their tents, though.

I'm a Mountain Hardware fan so I'd say up your price point a little bit and see what they have.

I bought an REI Kingdom 6 and love it. Too big for your needs.

I would stick to REI or Kelty.

Did some more looking around and I'm stuck between 2 tents. Both around the same price.

I'm leaning towards the Zeus, but have been hearing the flooring is a bit weak.

REI tents are reliable and reasonable. You can't go wrong with them. I've been using REI backpacking gear (I'm a co-op member) for 15 years. Zero complaints.

i used atent two weeks ago that was a nice one that easily fit all my shit and 3 other friends.
it had these nozzle things on 4 corners, so you just lift it up, pull back on the nozzle, lock it in, and its up in 2 minutes. nothings easier.

I would buy the footprint. They usually don't cost much and are worth helping keep ground moisture out of the bottom (depending on how your tent is constructed). They're also useful if you decide to ditch the tent and build your own shelter.
