E46 19" wheel refinish

I have the OEM 19" that has some curb marks. How is the wheel fixed? Can the curb marks be polished out or is some special paint used on the spokes.

Any shop recommended in SF Bay Area that knows how to deal with M3 wheels?

Hey I looked into this, they polish down the marks and use some sort of filler in the Dents and what not, but then your either have to have your wheels painted, or re chrome dipped.
I was hearing around 100+ a wheel just for the repair before paint.

Thanks. Looks like I am going to either DIY or leave it as is.
