Any word on FIDELIO?

Im pretty sure that my car is on this ship . . For those of you who are also on this ship or have already been through this long nerve wrecking process know the best way to track a ship?

Later this week as it gets close to North America the www.marinetraffic.com is a better tracker.

It should be docking at Halifax, NS (in Canada) some time tonight or tomorrow.

Then it should arrive to the NY/NJ BMW VDC some time on Saturday.

Where are you getting information that the Fidelio will dock in Halifax and that it was delayed one day?

Now it is coming in on Sunday, although from a practical standpoint it probably won't make that big of a change in schedule when it comes to delivery. Even though it is a 2 day delay, it is over a weekend when likely nothing would have happened anyway. I think it really means a 1 day delay.

It is NJ -- they list it as New York (no offense intended to people in NJ, but NYC is more internationally recognizable I am sure).

Actually, car ships are unloaded/loaded 7 days a week. And being that BMWs VPC is literally right next the vessel, plenty can still be done.

Watched the FIDELIO on marinetraffic.com today come into Halifax. Just a few more days before my car gets unloaded!

Yup, docked a few hours ago. Hopefully it leaves Halifax on time and makes it's way to the Jersey VDC.

My CA is going to check if they have an iPhone 4 snap-in adapter yet and if so get it ready for me so I'll have it during delivery.

Unless the tracking is off, the ship appears to be near long beach right now.

Perhaps I can take a quick drive over near the water and get a pic of the ship as it passes.
