Who will you be voting for

McGuinty or NDP. I kind of like McGuinty's green energy policy but thats pretty much it. That Hudak guy doesn't seem trustworthy

Did you see what Green did for the economy in Spain?

I am sorry but this is a really dumb argument. where do you find the correlation between Green policy and Spain's economy? Just like some of the other European countries, Spain borrowed more than they could afford.

In any case, the conversation is about our provincial election. I don't know who to vote for yet. Haven't decided yet.

Dumb huh? Try looking it up before passing judgement. Because Spain had the most aggressive Green policies in Europe, it's slated that for every 1 green job created, it diminished 2.2 regular jobs in the private sector and accounted for a tremendous percentage of their government spending. Their economy is crushed for more reasons than just borrowed money (although that is the biggest reason)

How's that for a correlation? Still a dumb argument?

I tried looking it up but too much reading. I couldn't find any information on why creating 1 green job would diminish 3 private sector jobs, this doesn't make sense to me.

I edited a typo. Not 20 jobs. 2.2

Okay so one of your source is a conservative blogger from USA, which is an opinion and the other is a National Energy Institute posting, co-incidentally from US as well. I wonder why would National Energy Institute, a special interest group would hate on Green jobs... lol. I wouldn't find a source in U.S for proof. I don't even know why I even brought this up. It is not like I am some sort of a green job supporter but at least check on what you are quoting. Everything that is on the Internet or TV is not necessarily true, they are just opinions, so people can move their agenda.

There is no question that Spain's program was horribly run just like many other Government programs, however, a lot of critique is coming out of U.S. as they want Obama to stop green initiatives.
