What's your experience driving 20" in Seattle?

Surprisingly, it wasn't bad at all! Ride seems a bit "softer" over the bumps now but aside from that, nothing too noticeable in ride comfort in the 19s these last 24 hours.
My girl hates it when I drive at 2mph over bumps and I figured going down to 19s would help hence the change (plus u prefer the look of my new wheels anyway!) |

I drive 19", but looking at new wheels right now and thinking about getting 20". The thing is those frigging pot holes all over Seattle. It hurts when you hit them even on 19". Riding 20" might cause a heart attack

I'm looking at BBS FIs specifically. I'm also concerned it'll rub. I have 19" they're so close to the sides

I was really pleasantly surprised by the lack of rub with the 20s. I knew when I bought the car that it had 20s and was thinking I'd have to switch them out straight away but drove on them for almost 6 months and didn't notice any obvious rubbing, if any! There's maybe very slight rub at full lock when I'm trying to do a 3-point turn in my driveway but hadn't noticed it at any other time. Nowhere near as bad as when I had 220Ms on my lowered M Coupe! |
