Well, at least you have a lawyer on the problem. Looks like the shop you went to was very lacking in skill...

I checked hes post and unfortunately was only stuff like that so I just took the advice to ignore it.

In fact is very sad, when I post in here I try to help or give my honest opinion on the subject and try to make friends, and not give my opinion where it does not belong.

I believe that things like this should be addressed but whom am I? to say something.

So, took the car to patrick's BMW 160 miles from where I live and they found over 10K+ in damage and also they found that when they lifted my car they some how made a big damage on the middle section exhaust pipe and need to be replaced as well also that the front driver's wheel was loose. the suspension is dead (brand new no miles on them) that they damage the coilovers and mounted them in the wrong side. camber and caster damage because they drove the car w/o them being properly installed also not repair possible. the BMW dealer could not find one part that was properly installed.

Called the lawyer today and he will demand that the shop in Peoria pay for the damages and if they Denny paying the damages we will go to court.

I still hoping for a peaceful solution.

FIY: they are A+ BBB rated.

hey diokaef sorry to hear that, you should ask for compensation as well, you lost hours of your time and they should assume all responsibility not just paying for damages. i know they wont want to go to court so im positive theyll assume all repairs costs but you should ask for more as they violated your trust and without going too far its fair to say that they could even kill you.
as im sure they know that because of this careless actions they should be out of business they will be terrified. use that to your advantage.
man but besides your shop problem im really, really sorry for all those ignorants bashing you because english is not your native language, it isnt mine either so i know the feeling. its pathetic that when you try to share your thoughts about something that makes you sad with FELLOW MEMBERS OF THE FORUM you receive that kind of treatment. that says something about the kind of human beings those people are. im absolutely sure most of us fellow members sympathize with you but those guys ,altought few, make us all look bad.
p.d: im sure all of them ignorants couldnt even spell egg in another language.
i really like your cars and admire the hard work and passion youve put on em so good luck with your problem and please keep us posted.

Did you pay with a credit card? I would start by disputing the charge on the credit card. Please don't say you paid with cash

Wow, that is some serious malpractice. Sorry man. Unfortunately, based on what you described, I don't get the sense that they will agree to a peaceful solution by handing you cash for damages, and if I were you, I wouldn't have them touch the car again in yet another attempt to fix anything. I'd get ready to go to court. Good luck.

wow, this hard to believe that a shop could be that bad.
Sorry to hear that you've had so much trouble.

FWIW, if these guys also work on Benz & P-cars.
I'd be posting on those boards as well.

It's too bad that it has to come to the point where lawyers are involved,
but in this case that is exactly what is needed.

Good luck on a resolution.

Yeah, what was the name of the shop? Perhaps you're not giving it out on the advice of your lawyers but I am sure some people wouldn't mind knowing on here.

Good luck.

Wow that's amazing. How could someone unintentionally screw up a job that badly? You'd almost think it had to have been done on purpose to be that badly botched.... What I don't get is why didn't the experienced mechanics take over once they saw the new guy struggling so much...?

FWIW, I did the install on my E36 M3 coilovers, adj camber plates, sway bars, etc... not having ever done any suspension work before, and although I've always been mechanically inclined, I've never had any formal training, just learning as I go.... I can't see how someone who is actually somewhat formally trained would fuck up a job that badly. Coilovers to the layman might be a tough job, but to someone who is familiar with the components and who has the right tools, it's a piece of cake. Are you sure they didn't just pass the job off to some bum off the streets? No way did any sort of professional mechanic do that.

That sounds like a monkey did the work or as mentioned it was done intentionally for whatever reason.

Disgruntled employee?

FYI. The BBB is a joke IMO. Now if a company has a really horrible rating on the BBB then it is obvious to stay away. A gold rating however does not mean gold service. All that shines is not gold.

I am sticking with intentional by pissed off shop worker.
