I wish I had a TVS or a Whipple 3.4. I've added a pulley and CAI. The CAI and tuner were actually courtesy of HotLap. It's also got an off road mid pipe.

Yeah the amount of tread shows just how much I drive it. It's not a garage queen, but I just don't drive it often either.

Sweet pics!! That's one nice stable you have going there! Your new M is very nice and you are going to really enjoy it! The color combo on your GT500 is awesome too...great hood stripe - really makes yours unique and stand out How are you liking the JLT/EVO tune combo...really wakes that 5.4L SC V8 up - don't it Have you gone to the EVO stage II yet? I thought I had mentioned to you that I traded the GT500 for my M3 vert? Sorry if I didn't but good to see you over here - good group here for sure!

Loving the JLT and tune and yes I upgraded to the Stage 2. Now I just need to get to modding the M3. No clue where to start though.

Details, details...what kind of difference did you notice between EVO Stage I and II? Stage II is the smaller pully, tune and colder plugs - right?

Huge difference. I got it dyno'd and with really high intake temps and pulling timing it made 540rwhp, but my tuner said he believes that it's probably closer to 600rwhp. 1st and 2nd gear are worthless. I do wish I had the suspension from the M3 on the GT500 though. Have you modded your M3 at all?

Mustangs are a lot of fun. I sold a supercharged '06 Mustang GT to make room for my M3. I installed the Roushcharger system from Roush and would have upgraded to their TVS kit surely by now had I kept the car. It made just under 400 rwhp with the 2.87 pulley and Roush tune. The kit was modest but the fit and finish from Roush was more factory appearing than most of the others. I mixed in a few parts from the GT500 intercooler system to avoid drilling some holes. I had H&R springs, Bilstein shocks/struts and ROH 19s with BFG KDW tires.
Here are a couple pics: |

What a combo...the suspension/handling of the M3 with the brute power of the GT500...that would be one POTENT combo I really like the way the GT500 responds to relatively inexpensive mods...as far as modding the M3, I'm still learning about it and I suspect patience will pay off as there isn't a whole lot out there yet for the new M3 V8. I'd like to see an SC for it to improve the off the line thrust. Also, going to have to take the plunge on aftermarket exhaust soon - but given the steep price of the systems I've seen for the M3 - I'm going to need to hear several of them to decide the best sound before I take the plunge.

Nice looking Stang you had. I agree with you on waiting to mod. I'm finding it hard to justify spending the money on some of the more expensive things for this car. Hell I was just starting to get used to thinking things for the GT500 were expensive, but this is a whole new ball game. Hell $1300 for a Stage 2 kit in the GT500 gets you at least 100rwhp I don't think the $2500 CAI for the M3 gets you more than 40rwhp. Strange how that works.
