Which rear tire sizes for my ADV 7.1?

Hi guys,

I've got my set of ADV 7.1 on their way to me as we speak. I need to order the tires now, so which should I go with?

The rear wheel size is 20x10.5

The two sizes recommended are:
305/25/20 or 295/25/20

Which would you go with and why? I don't want any rubbing!

if you want to be safe , go with the 295-25-20 , unless you know the offset , then use the 305. you shouldnt have issues with either or.

I have 20 x 11" Volk G2's with 305/25's (Pirelli P-Zero Nero) and love them. I would go with the wider tire. I was worried about understeer but I have not noticed any difference on the street. I have 255's on the front.

Many experts would suggest maintaining factory stagger (a 20 mm delta) in very well tuned/balanced cars like the M3. I'm thinking going 255f/275r with 9" and 10.5" ADVs respectively.

I have CH-R 9, 10.5 setup with 255/30/20, 285/30/20. Tires fit nicely on the wheels and works pretty good. I'm always afraid to go down to 25 series. It seems too fragile on rough street with some potholes.

I used the 295/25/20 without any problems.
