Final Update:
Good news, the Service Mgr stepped in to help me out with this issue. Basically my SA verified there were no signs on my car that it showed excessive heat/abuse of the rotors. Based on this the Service Mgr worked with the regional BMW rep and they approved replacement of my rotors. I'm glad to say everything worked out without me having to use a lawyer and the car drives and brakes wonderfully as it always should have.

Oh man...I'd be pissed! All of that drama just to have them state the obvious.
