My Dynapack dyno results

Like the title says I came back from using a Dynapack 4000 for kicks. The 357 pull was from another M3 (for comparison I guess) not my car. SAE correction used. 91 Octane.

I'm confused. Are these numbers for your stock or modded m3?

jonmartin...your dyno results are useless if you don't post what mods you did to get those numbers.

dynapack numbers tend to be a tad high compared to dyno jet numbers. Its the complete opposite of the dyno dynamics you started with. You should dyno on a dyno jet now because I think that dyno dynamics you use seems to read more like a dyno jet. Unless the shoot out mode makes a big difference.

I've never seen a stock M3 dyno 315whp on a dynojet usually 350whp. So thats def not the problem lol. Also although Dynapack dynos read high when not setup correctly this one is setup to read like the one Pencil geek used to get his 424hp with his stroker motor. Depending on how its setup a stock M3 can read 330 whp on a Dynapack or 370whp so it really depends if its adjusted properly. I will probably dyno on a Dynojet next week at VF. Eitherway the Dynodynamics I used is not reading high neither is the Dynapack. Based on the formulas that PG used they both come up to ~500hp crank on 91octane when its all said and done.

So you really think your car is making only 20whp less than the RD stroker motor..... I really don't think so. Based on your comparison runs with other cars you are in the 375whp range... Not trying to hate here. You have a very nice car and its fast !!!! But... you are deff. more in the class of Drew who just put down 375 on a dyno jet. Wouldn't that be fair to assume?

I look forward to the dynojet numbers. I'm only asking based off of what I've seen in comparo's with other cars and other dyno numbers of stroker motors making similar numbers. There is another dyno of a rd stroker motor on a dyno jet making 430 on 96oct. with a some what clean power band and video of Jon getting pulled on by a car that makes 375whp on a dynojet. I hope he Jon makes 450whp with his mods. IT'S ALL GOOD ... enjoy the car and make lots of videos for everyone to see how the car is running !
