Hey. It's a great concept but a lot of new traffic cams don't use flash anymore. They're video cameras set up to record the whole event. I got a red light ticket in the mail a few months ago and it had a link to the government web site showing a video of the whole thing and there was no flash as it was in bright day light. Felt kinda funny watching me blast through a yellow turning red at full speed. Best solution I figured is no license plate at all.

Yes, they violate the DOT lighting regulations. State motor vehicle equipment laws are derived DOT regulations.

Respekt the lights! It's for your safety and other people safety. I'm all for driving fast. But safety first and running red lights or squeezing the lemon is bad news!
