would love to stay at the cosmopolitan but its sold out? lol they only have 2995 rooms... ummm and so we have a bunch of people that say venetian and a bunch that say palozzo... do any of these places have indoor pools? or what makes one more social than the other?

Also trying to figure out what to do in nyc and where to stay...

I stayed at Vdara when I was there back in October and liked it. It's not for you if you're looking for a hotel pool, club, etc... but the suite I had was pretty cool, modern, and roomy. There is no casino downstairs, but that was fine by me since I don't like being greeted by wafts of smoke from gamblers (the hotel actually smells pretty good, too), especially after a long night/day. Rather, the hotel was a pretty tranquil place to chill between nights out. The hotel is situated between the Bellagio and Aria and is located right next to a tram stop so you can get around fairly easily on the strip.

Venetian and Palazzo are sister properties so the room sizes and amenities are practically identical. As far as I know, no casino has an indoor pool, only outdoor, which is why I find it funny that people are talking about Rehab and pools for this weekend haha! Anyway, as I said before, for the prices that you listed in your previous post, you cannot go wrong with Venetian or Palazzo.

venetian is the original hotel and palazzo is the newer updated property. palazzo is definitely better since it finished construction in 2007 and much much newer, whereas venetian was built and completed in 1999 and 2003 for the newer tower.

same with encore/wynn, encore is newer.

better looking cocktail waitresses at the wynn collection versus the venetian property. no indoor pools in vegas.

surrender and xs's outdoor areas will be closed this time of the year, as will tao beach, so xs basically is the same as tryst.

Sucks that the cosmopolitan is sold out. At the least, go check it out while you're there. Its unique. By far my favorite property at the moment.
