I am one of the 1st in line to purchase the E92 M3 here in Australia when it arrives 1st week of November. After leaving a small deposit two years ago the dealer contacted me 10 days ago to advise I had to choose colour and other specifications immediately. Of course when it came to colour I felt anguished. Should I be persuaded to choose white as per the BMW promotional material? Should I choose red as per the videos all over YouTube? Maybe that Interlagos blue - but it looked too bright!!! Grays dont do it for me. So it was down to a black or the Silverstone. Black looked brilliant but its a colour better suited to European climates. So I chose Silverstone with black interior (I wanted red but the kids were adament I would look too try-hard), 19" wheels, deluxe sound system and a sunroof. Ever since going firm on my order, I have regretted my colour choice....until today!!!!! Thank you so much for your brilliant expose on the colours and the experience of visiting the factory and driving the car. You really captured the essence for many readers.......3 months to go for me!!!!
