Just looked this configuration up again on Tire Rack, looks like its going for about $1750 dollars. So you can save 650 dollars on some only slightly used winter tires.

Bump. Going to my parents house this weekend where the tires are stored in the summer. I should have pictures up Sunday evening. They are in perfect condition though and look just like the ones above.

They got me through everything last winter. Especially that storm that shut down the area during rush hour. I was going up hills in the snow with a RWD car that other cars were getting stuck and rolling backwards on! So they really do a great job imo. They also handled the dry and wet well too, obviously a bit squishier of a ride but I didn't complain at all. The biggest difference is in braking though. I wouldn't even want to drive with the summer tires in the winter when it was below freezing and raining out. Trying to brake with just a little coating of snow/slush/ice is just dangerous with the stock tires. One night I blew right through a stop light on the summer tires, luckily it was really late and no one was out. It was just some freezing rain but those stock summer tires have no grip at all. At that point I said enough with this! Turned around and went home, had winter tires on a few days later.
