New to Board

Snow, Ice, Rain, and Sleet, kept me from going to work today. So I thought I'd join the board. 2011 E93 SSM, 6MT. I just recently installed the Eisenmann Race Exhaust. Can't wait to hear her rip with the top down.

I will get some pictures up as soon as I can figure out how to upload them

I live in N. Jersey, the roads are terrible. I don't think I can bare the disappointment of another bent rim. It's a road I've been down too many times. However, I am a glutton for punishment and spring is right around the corner.

Its called the rake look. I to didnt want the car leveled out but the butt up a bit higher. I bought H&R sport springs from **********s as this is what they recommend to me for the look I was going for. You can see pics of my car a few pages back. I also have a few pics of my car on the wheel section for bmw under forgestar at **********s.. Hope this helps..

car

Well depends if thats the look you want. You might want the rear end a bit higher to have a more rake look. All I did was has those springs installed. I had pss2's coilovers on my comp pkg e46 before my e93. I did the same type of look. Well with this car because of the adjustable suspension in place already they don't recommend coilovers or you mess with the suspension. So I just ordered the springs as just to drop the car to get a more aggressive look and a tighter feel on the car. I have just put a lip on it also. So the car is low but not so low your scrapping on stuff. If you get rims also has a better looking fit. I have 20's on my car now so it may look a bit lower because there is less height in between the fender and tire.. If you have questions you can always ask the guys at **********s they are a lot of help..Jeff
