Once I get the wheels dialed in I'll have a proper photoshoot.

I'll call this current state "Stage 1 OEM+"

Thanks for all the interest and hopefully this doesn't disappoint. This is still a daily commuter for me so I might have overdone it for a supposed "beater car" haha. More to come.. hopefully soon!

Yes I love the e91 also! You'd be amazed at how much stuff fits in the back with the rear seats down. I was able to fit a completely stacked Home Depot trolly full of home renovations ie 15 cases of tiling, sinks, mirrors, blinds, etc in 1 car load!

Didn't realize there was one in the US. The only one I knew of was the one in England, and that has got to be one of the coolest cars on M3post next to the Techno Violet E92.

Likewise I wasn't aware there was one in the US already. There are 3 that I know of in the world, mine would be the 4th but first in the US to my knowledge.

2 in the UK: Best I've seen is forum member 63NP. He has a FULL conversion. There is also another forum member from the UK that has a body conversion in Mineral White.

1 in Barcelona featured on Stanceworks with a body conversion on a 335i E91.
(I am extremely sad the US did not get the 335 E91...)

Then last but not least, me in the US. Of course I'm definitely ecstatic to see another conversion in the US so please share!!

Make that 5 in the world since there's also one e91 m3 in Taiwan. It's forum member Eugene-TAIWAN's friend. I have been tracking that build early this year. It's probably done now, just with no updates on the thread.

One day, I will also build an e91 m3. It has been a dream of mine on building a project like that. I will definitely make it happen!

Yup! That is forum member 63NP that I mentioned above also. Now that is what you call a COMPLETE conversion. It was an inspiration for my project.

There was a goof up possibly when we ordered the same low profile headrails. They sent me headrail deletes.

So cool though. I think the proportions on the E91 are perfect. Maybe I missed it earlier on the thread, but is this cosmetic, or full conversion?

Either way, congrats on finding an MT E91. Don't see that around very often. Keep us updated!

You didn't miss anything since I didn't say, but this was Stage 1 so it's just the body conversion. It ended up being much more difficult than expected, but definitely worth the trouble.

Yes it was NOT easy finding a MT E91. I had to search for months before I found one that was MT and rear wheel drive + LCI.

There are 3 options for engine:
1. S65
2. N54 with Vishnu Procede
3. LSx (yes I said it... LS motor!)

Opinions? I'm sure the engine topic will be an interesting discussion.

I still have new car warranty so.. hopefully this cosmetic work doesn't cause any issues (knock on wood). I was planning on waiting out the end of the warranty before I work on engine since I only have 30k~ miles on the clock and a year left on warranty.

If you want to outdo every E91 M3 conversion, go with an S85 V10. It won't be much of a "beater" car but it'll be well worth it.

More pics please!!
