Yah, it takes a nice SLR camera and good settings to pull off a nice shot using aperture to get the best color. hope to see more quality shots soon!

Well said ... and I have AiB's too. In fact I started with Gen1 and now I am on Gen3. I like them but nothing I have seen over powers the sun.

Also another thing about the pictures, they always come out best when you are at least 20 feet away from the car, looking directly at the headlights, and also eye level with the lights

Grats on making your decision. I honestly think some of it boils down to preference. It's so hard to tell the difference between some of these angel eye solutions on pictures.

Found it! The sun is directly infront of the car at about 9am-ish when this photo was taken. Sorry for the crappy iPhone 3GS pic.

Hmm, in the pics it appears that the outer ring isn't lit up too well (similar to other AE products). But how do they look in person? I'm assuming a huge upgrade from GP Thunders. But better than AiBs or Alpine HIDs?

Lux or AiBs??? Decisions decisions.

please look on our website for better photo's of the LUX H8. the photo above is taken with a cell phone camera and it does not accurately portray the angel eyes. The main reason that the above picture looks strange is becaue the picture was taken too close to the car. If that picture had the stock angel eyes you still would not be able to see the outer rings. Pictures of the angel eyes need to be taken from at least 15 or 20 feet away .

The outer ring will always be dimmer the the inner ring, that is just the design of the headlights. the LUX H8 id designed however to maximize the brightness out the outer ring.

This is what the angel eyes look like when taken with a real camers:

Hmm, you have a point, though those do look good on that car.

Is the picture with V2 or V3? Also, is there any difference in the output between the V2 or V3, or is it just the a hardware change?

Based on what I have read in other posts the only difference is in the power supply, they made some corrections internally. No noticeable increase/decrease in output.

From what I understand don't the OSS lights look as good as the factory LCI ones?

BTW, does anyone install them in SoCal? I see that as the biggest obstacle (for me, at least) in getting them.

This picture is of the V3, however the V2 look identical from the outside.
