21.5MPG is the most i've ever seen, that was on a 500 mile trip doing 60-70MPH...

Once the speed climbs, the MPG drops dramatically. If you keep pace and maybe put your foot down now and again expect more realistically 16-18MPG.

Looks like you found the rabbit hole, OP...

I get 21-22 if all highway, averaging 75-85, and that's with a few blasts up into triple digits here and there.

It really depends on whether you are sedan or coupe, 6MT or DCT, carbon fiber or sun roof. Also depends on whether your rod bearing is going or not.

Not sure if I've seen a thread about MPG before...I've done 21.1 (calculated) on a tank that was almost about 80% highway at 75 indicated (72 actual road speed) with a few "acceleration events" mixed in. Pure, pure highway the car will do 22 at that speed but that's a long road trip with no city mixed in. If you can stand driving around 55-60mph, the car will hit 24mpg but ain't nobody got time fo that. Mine's a 6-speed, I'm sure the slightly taller 7th DCT gear would do a little better. Routinely get to 300 miles on a tank.

Note, it's possible to go into the "secret" menus and alter the correction factor so that the on-board computer is very close to the actual. From the factory it's about 10% optimistic.

Please tell us about this "secret" menu.

Yup, well mine has Dinan intake and pulley kit which i feel added so MPG, but i went up north and was averaging 80mph sometime higher and was getting almost 22mpg so at 70-75 im sure it would have been around 23mpg!
