Top Gear TV feat. M3, C63, & RS4 scheduled for 12/23/07

Very funny filming. Space grey M3 looked awesome.

Clarkson and May agreed the M3 was best car, but Clarkson said he could not ignore Merc due it's engine insaneness.

Lap time around circuit in Spain for M3 was 2.38, merc 2.43, rs4 slightly slower still.

They all agree the m3 is the best car ... Although jeremy still loves the c63 for its sheer madness !

There is no doubt that the best car there was the M3 and surprisingly I would have placed the RS4 ahead of the Merc, regardless of the fact is was both slower in acceleration and by the 0.5s around the track. The Mercedes was just to mad and unruly to be considered a good small sports saloon/coupe, the hamster summed it up when he said the RS4 give confidence and security after all of that rwd madness.

Though neither it or the C63 could come close to equalling the brilliance of the M3, like 5 seconds around that track is no small margin of improvement and it wasn't that far behind in the acceleration, plus to me in the Space Grey it just looked amazing.

P.S.

Note to myself, ring dealer to see if it's not to late to change colour back to Space Grey. And if it is .......... COCK as James May would say.

I think Clarkson really liked the M3, when he was driving it he said "what a masterpiece"

He also said about the merc that when your pushing it the traction control keeps butting in, so your only option is to turn it off which then makes the car very hard to control

when he originally test drove the rs4 he said that the new M3 would have to come with a free moon to be better than the rs4. Where is my free moon!
