Opinions please re problem
Guys just wanted an opinion as i am not the most mechanically minded.
When i full lock my wheel to the right, for example when parking, i get a grinding noise at the point close to full wheel lock. Does any one have an idea what that may be? I should have also said the sound comes from the front right wheel. Apologies for not posting in technical section, but i am not sure what section it would be most appropriate for. Cheers |

Is the car lowered ? Wheels with spacers ? Ect......... Let someone drive...park "slow"several times, and with full wheel lock ! Same time you take a close look at it , and open eyes and ears ..... Also...take wheel out,and look where it rubs... look after scratches ........

Are you actually holding the steering wheel against the lock? This is terrible and shouldn't be done as it will burn out the pump |

Could be the sway bar, the cv boot or power steering fluid. There are other causes but those three come to mind.
